The Red Bellied Piranha or Pygocentrus Nattereri is one of the most vicious fish in the world! These freshwater fish are normally found in streams and rivers in the Amazon, Brazil and South America in large schools. 
The Red Bellied Piranha has been know to attack its prey in groups of 20-30 fish! Lucky for us they mostly eat fish, insects, snails, and plants. Even though they only grow to 12", they can eat fish of any size by ripping them apart with their razor sharp teeth. Believe it or not, in some places these Piranhas are a popular aquarium fish, but should never be released into the wild.
